It’s time to take back breakfast with a new recipe which calls for a few simple ingredients. It’s very quick to make and you probably have all you need in your pantry right now.

Remember that a healthy breakfast kick-starts your day and nourish your body with the mental and physical energy you need to get things done.

Ok, let’s go! Combine the ingredients, follow the directions and enjoy your homemade breakfast with us 🙂

Ingredients

  • egg white, 100g
  • plain yogurt, 30g
  • almonds flour, 20g
  • whole-grain oat flour, 10g

Directions

In a medium bowl, whisk together all the ingredients and let the batter rest for 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, put a small (10 cm diameter) non-stick frying pan on a low heat. Add the batter to the pan, then cover and cook for around 15 minutes.

Turn the mass over and put it back into the pan to finish cooking for 5 minutes more.

Once cooked, transfer to a plate and let it cool down. Split the cake in half horizontally and stamp a circular hole into the center of each slice.

Spread the yogurt over it and garnish with fruit and a chocolate sauce or whatever you like.

😉 Suggestion: the recipe has it all, but if you want to eat seriously, you can add chocolate chunks and roasted chopped nuts on top!
